Come along to the Pheasant at Gestingthorpe, Essex on Saturday 20th March and make a willow wigwam for your garden, this is just a morning course with lunch included. The course is run by our good friend Debbie Hart, Horticulturalist from Writtle College. This is our third year that we have been running the courses which have always proven to be a very enjoyable day. Booking is advisable as the numbers are limited.
Debbie Hart is a horticulturalist at Writtle College for the past 20 years and is involved in many of the arts projects that take place within and outside the college. Debbie has been constructing willow features for approximately 10 years and her work involves school workshops, courses for adults in colleges and at private gardens, constructing items such as situ fencing, living willow tunnels, bowers and bespoke pieces.
